These readers can read their own low cost proximity cards or can
be optionally be ordered with compatibility with other brands of proximity cards
including AWID or
HID. AWID and HID compatible models can read the AWID or HID cards in
conjunction with the standard P-Series card issued by Highpower.
Proximity card readers are convenient, fast, and simple to use; you just hold your
proximity card
in front of the reader, and your code is instantly and securely transmitted from the card to
the reader via radio signal.
All readers are weatherproof and have no moving parts to wear or break.
All "Wiegand-interface" models are used in conjunction with a door
controller. Some models also have ABA outputs for interfacing with mag-stripe

A natural for higher security applications requiring both card
and PIN, the P-600 integrates a proximity reader and a stainless steel touch
keypad into a single package. Based on piezo technology, the keypad eliminates
all moving parts, making it extremely reliable. Read range with the PSC-1 card
is up to four inches (102 mm). The P-600 may be affixed to a standard USA
single-gang wall switch box. Includes a four state LED (red, green, amber, and
off), an audio tone, and both black and off-white covers standard. Available

Designed to be mounted directly to standard U. S. A.
sized single-gang wall box, the P-640 is ideal for applications requiring an
access credential and/or personal identification number (PIN), and it delivers
read ranges of up to 6 inches (152 mm). Keypad data is transmitted via either an
8-Bit Burst or 26-Bit Wiegand data format using a durable, non-mechanical
capacitive technology. It includes blue backlighting and a continuously
illuminated 5-key, both for orientation at night, tactile feedback; and a raised
'pip' on the 5-key for use by visually impaired individuals. The P-640 ships
with both black and white covers standard. HID compatibility model number is
P-640-H, AWID compatibility model number is P-640-A. Lower cost than the
P-600 and comes with an illuminated keypad.

Delivering a longer read range, the P-700 is intended for
applications calling for heightened levels of convenience, such as parking lots
and employee entrances. Read range with the PSC-1 card is up to 14 inches (356
mm). Includes a four state LED (red, green, amber, and off), an audio tone, and
a standard black cover. Order the "-H" model for HID compatible
version. P-700 is not available with AWID compatibility.

WWR-42
"Ranger" |
The Ranger is an affordable Long Read Range
credential reader that can read remote control style tags up to 150 feet
away. It's ideal for vehicle access without lowering the window.
Output is Wiegand, so the remote control looks like standard proximity card to
an access control system. All credentials are numbered individually, have
fully encrypted transmission, and also work with standard readers without
pressing the remote control button. The Ranger also has dual Wiegand
outputs for use with more than one control panel and has a read range adjustment
so the read range can be limited below the 150 foot range if required.

The PSC-1, nominally 0.059 inches (1.49 mm) thick and backed
by a lifetime warranty, is among the thinnest clamshell-style proximity
cards, providing maximum read range. The PSC-1 can be programmed in any
Wiegand format, including 26-bit Wiegand, and may be used with all P-Series
readers.

The durable PSI-4 Image Technology Proximity Card is
designed for rugged printing demands.. Backed by a lifetime warranty, this
glossy finish, dye sublimation printable card is 0.046 inches (1.17 mm)
thick. The PSI-4 can be programmed in any Wiegand format, including 26-bit
Wiegand, and may be used with all P-Series readers.

Designed to be carried on a key ring, it is one of the
narrowest and smallest key-chain tags available in the industry.
Very convenient for day-to-day use. The PSK-3 is marked with a date
code and ID number, includes a brass eyelet, and is backed by a lifetime
warranty. The PSK-3 can be programmed in any Wiegand format, including
26-bit Wiegand, and may be used with all P-Series readers.

Multi-technology proximity card

The dye sublimation printable PSM-2, with a glossy surface,
a nominal ISO-thickness of 0.031 inches (0.8 mm), and an optional magnetic
stripe, is ideal as a corporate photo ID card. It's thin profile make it a
good choice for applications that require proximity and barcode or
magstripe technologies. The PSM-2 can be programmed in any Wiegand
format, including 26-bit Wiegand, and may be used with all P-Series
readers. Model number with a magnetic stripe is PSM-2S.

Ranger Tags

WRT-1
|
The WRT-1 tag is a single button credential for the Ranger
reader. It also works as a tag for all of our standard readers.
It's design in similar to a remote control. The unit is furnished with
a key ring. The button press operates the long range capability of the
tag transmitting a 433 Mhz signal powered by a replaceable 12V battery.
Presenting the tag to a standard reader causes the tag to send a standard
125 KHz signal to the reader just like a normal card, without pressing the
button. The 433 Mhz signal is a rolling code with high security
encryption. Since the long range transmission is powered by a battery,
instead of using unreliable passive technology, the unit works reliably in
all environments and installation types. |

The WRT-4 tag is a four button credential for the Ranger
reader. It also works as a tag for all of our standard readers.

reliably in all environments and installation types. |
